Hola, I’m Manu 👋
With over a decade of experience in the tech industry, I've had the privilege of working with diverse companies, exploring various domains, assuming different roles, and mastering a wide range of technologies.
The journey has been enriching, and I continue to thrive on the excitement and challenges that come with it.
Today, my primary focus revolves around elevating products and solutions to new heights, getting into the management area, bringing together the realms of product and engineering.
In my capacity as a Senior Software Engineer, I played a key role in developing the third generation of data visualization for Dynatrace products. Working closely with product managers, execution leads, architects, and other stakeholders, I actively contributed to crafting cutting-edge data visualization solutions using technologies like D3 and Visx. Beyond technical contributions, I also made substantial impacts by mentoring team members, providing guidance on work processes, and enhancing our iterative development approach.
In my role as a Technical Product Manager, I was responsible for defining roadmaps, cultivating partnerships, and conceptualizing innovative solutions for our B2B challenges as a core solution. My role extended to backlog refinement and prioritization, data-driven decision-making, and shaping product strategies that harmonized market demands with technological advancements. By orchestrating a balanced roadmap and fostering global marketplaces' transformation, I leveraged a holistic approach to drive our product's evolution helping clients to become more transactional.
I served as a Frontend Developer within a cross-platform team responsible for developing a highly versatile component utilized across multiple marketplaces in diverse countries. In addition to my development responsibilities, I played a crucial role in bridging the gap between engineers and managers, contributing as an enabler in the product development process.
As one of the co-founders of ServiteOnline, I played a pivotal role in establishing and leading a groundbreaking platform designed to facilitate the digital transformation and rapid acceleration of store ordering systems. Our platform aimed to empower businesses by enabling seamless transactions within our ecosystem. In addition to my technical responsibilities overseeing the development of web applications for both user and admin entry points, I actively contributed to the overall product vision and strategy.
At Rabobank, one of the leading banks in The Netherlands, I played a critical role in a challenging migration project that encompassed both business and technical aspects. As a Frontend Developer, I was part of the platform team responsible for delivering a new development ecosystem that would be utilized throughout the entire organization. Specifically, I actively contributed to the decision-making process regarding the selection, migration, introduction, and implementation of a new monorepo set-up.
I worked there as a Frontend consultant for this online banking platform for professional services, developing and helping the team to integrate and implement the UI (Web Apps and Hybrid Mobile Apps) of the company products with the different Bank cores systems.
Worked as a Web Developer for an e-commerce hybrid Mobile Application called The Children's Place, based on the US.
Worked as a Web and Mobile Frontend Developer, where I developed several hybrid applications and web apps from scratch that are now still in production, including Application distribution into the different stores. Regarding the business domain, the applications were Booking systems, Ticket systems, and Live feed events applications, among others. These apps were implemented in stores such as restaurants, sports clubs, bars, and shopping.
I led the development of a SPA. A private online social media called Likeminder, which allows users to share and support private and emotional conversations. Since we were a small team, I was involved in all technical and non-technical discussions related to the end product, and also was able to refactor the Application to improve several aspects that were missing at the moment that we took over it.
I worked as an APIgee 4G developer, which is a cloud-based platform for APIs. My duties were the design and development of RESTful APIs into Apigee Platform, in order to expose automatic digital supply chain services to increase the platform’s integration capabilities with third-party applications; application’s issue diagnostics and resolution; deployment management; and customer service orientation.
